Daily Tasks

The problem

A long list of recurring tasks makes it difficult to distinguish today's priorities from work due later, or to see what is already complete.

The solution

Daily Tasks groups activities by category and lets users set dates, priorities, and repeat schedules. Search and day or priority filters narrow the list, while completion tracking keeps finished work visible.

My contributions

• Organized the initial implementation into an epic with linked user stories and tasks for the team's shared application structure.
• Implemented collapsing and expanding task groups and categories, connecting interactions in the sidebar and main content views.
• Coordinated a documentation epic covering contributing guidelines, README details, and a project showcase.

Behind the project

As Product Owner for Chingu Voyage 47, I helped the team turn a supplied dataset into a task manager. We used HTML, CSS, and modular JavaScript with a Model-View-Controller structure. This is the original JavaScript version; the later React adaptation was a separate project.
